Quiet, not crowded, but it's because the costs are higher. The theaters don't go dark enough, but it's so the servers can bring food. Very expensive food, with added 18% "service charge" that ISN'T a tip. $40+ for 3 milkshakes and one dessert.
Man this place was top notch, good food, great service, decent quality in their Delux theaters. The kids felt like they were at a rich guys house in his private theater. Will definitely be coming back. Pricing was fair on the movie tickets and the food was moderately priced. But the food quality was good.
10/10 recommend. We enjoy being able to go to tge movies and prop our feet up. Tge staff is always very friendly and we are able to enjoy the movie. Due to limited seating, there isn't 100 people in the room talking and yelling at the screen. It's very nice and worth the extra just for that reason alone. Bonus if your hungry just order dinner and cocktails to enjoy during the show. All done from a tablet at you seat and delivered fresh to you.
Pretty cool vibe and experience. 3 stars because the seats are peeling and the screens are pretty small. But the seat-side ordering is top notch. Also that whole id-ing carding people is a bit flawed. I'm a young 39 so I get it but I definitely saw younger looking people come in and not get carded at all. Please develop some consistency Nexus Cinema, it makes your customers feel like you are being prejudice.
Great and unique experience, food is good and service is timely. Theaters rooms are small and luxurious almost as if it were private showings, overall would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a different experience while going out to a theatre.
I never thought that I would leave a bad review on Nexxus, considering we frequent there quite a bit. We took a little break for a while and decided to stream movies in the convenience of our own home. My husband purchased our tickets online and prepaid for 2 tickets to Meg2. After arriving the move that started at 8:50pm, we were told that at 9:30 that we couldn't order food because the kitchen was closed, but during the previews of the movie it clearly stated that you could order food anytime during the movie. The family had all of the seating past the second row and a bunch of small children who, which should tell you about their parenting, considering there is blood and gore in this movie. 🤔
One of the children who appeared to be about 3 or 4 screamed at the top of his lungs from the time we arrived until we left out since the other children and a few of the adults were talking and playing etc one of the women tryed to calm the little boy who stood in the middle of the isle screaming and then he started screaming No at the top of his lungs. There's no need to go on with that. It was horrible. The servers tried to quit them. The servers were frustrated. We left out and proceeded downstairs for a refund, considering we hadn't been able to watch any of the movie. The manager gave us comp tickets to come back the next day. So we proceeded to the bar for a much needed drink. The bar tender was outstanding. We the paid and left. We returned today Sunday the following day to finally catch this movie. The movie was great. The service was good, but at check out, our $69.07 ticket after tax since we paid for our ticket the day before and received comp tickets. Checking out, the young lady said $80.13, I showed her our tablet, and she said the charge was an 18% service fee. I never remember paying that before, as high as inflation and everything else is in this day and age it should have been on the tablet or somewhere about an 18% service fee. We paid the ticket 🎟. She asked if we wanted to tip the server, and I advised that we did with the 18% service fee. We will just stream we have great accommodations at home with the Theater setup. Why are we here? Transparency is the key to a successful business. People like to know what they are getting up front.
Went to see the Ballards of the song birds and snakes. Very clean. Has a bar. Tablets at each seat for drinks and food orders. Very quick with food deliveries. Pop corn was salty and buttery 😍 …
Patrons beware 18% service charge added to each order to anticipate food price increases. It is not gratuity!
Selected seats for 6 online. Only seats available were 3 rows of 2. Arrived at theater and lead to 2 rows of 3. We were a party of 3 couples. One set had to split up! Was told all the other seats in the row were sold out. After the 3 1/2 movie no one ever sat in the seats.
